Amy Adams to marry fiance Darren Le Gallo this weekend

New York: "American Hustle" actress Amy Adams is reportedly set to tie the knot with her longtime fiance Darren Le Gallo this weekend in LA.

The 40-year-old five-time Academy Award nominee is planning a hush-hush ceremony with Le Gallo at a private location in the LA area, reported the New York Post.

The "Big Eyes" star Adams has been with actor and artist Le Gallo, 40, for 14 years. They became engaged in 2008 and have a daughter, Aviana, who will be five next month.

"Amy and Darren are getting married this weekend in Los Angeles in a ceremony that will be intimate and very genuine. The guest list is being kept very small and she has kept the location very much under wraps," a source said.

"Amy and Darren had always planned on getting married, but her career has been on such an amazing trajectory, it has been hard for her to take the time out. But now she has deliberately taken some time off work to be with her family and finally get married," the source said.

Adams and Le Gallo, who live in Beverly Hills, met in an acting class after she starred in 2002's "Catch Me If You Can".

Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed tie the knot

Los Angeles: Actors Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are said to have tied the knot in his hometown in Louisiana.

After photographs of their wedding ceremony emerged on Twitter, the `Vampire Diaries` actor and his `Twilight` actress fiancee are now said to be married, reports suggest.

Reed, 26, who was previously married to singer-songwriter Paul McDonald, can be seen in a stunning long-sleeved lace gown while the 36-year-old actor donned a white suit and shirt.

Somerhalder appeared to confirm the news by taking to his Twitter account to gush about the big day, which is thought to have taken place in his hometown on Sunday.

He wrote: "most beautiful morning ever... (sic)"

Sony develops female '21 Jump Street' movie

Los Angeles: Movie studio Sony is working on a female-centric "21 Jump Street" movie.

"Broad City" writers Lucia Aniello and Paul Downs are tapped for an untitled female-driven film based on the tone of the franchise starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, reported Aceshowbiz.

In the meantime, the original movie which is adapted from a vintage TV show starring Johnny Depp has spawned a sequel "22 Jump Street" and will be followed with a third one.

Rodney Rothman from the second movie is set to return to write script for the threequel, while directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller will produce it. 

Oscar-nominated filmmaker to pen 'Six Billion Dollar Man'

Los Angeles: Oscar-nominated filmmaker Damian Szifron has signed on to write the screenplay of Mark Wahlberg's ‘Six Million Dollar Man’ remake.

Szifron, who scored a 2014 Best Foreign Film Oscar nomination for ‘Wild Tales’, will adapt Martin Caidin's novel Cyborg for new movie ‘Six Billion Dollar Man’, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Wahlberg is attached to star in the blockbuster and Peter Berg will direct the updated version of the ‘The Six Million Dollar Man’ TV series, which starred Lee Majors as Steve Austin.

In the new version, Wahlberg's character will play a military officer, who becomes half machine following a near-death accident. 

'X-Men: Apocalypse' a really different film: Bryan Singer

Los Angeles: Director Bryan Singer has revealed that ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ is really different to what has come before.

The new film will be a follow-up to ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"It's a big monster of a movie. The stakes are so high and global and the villain is so mythic. It's definitely an X-Men movie, but it really feels different," Singer said.

Meanwhile, he also spoke about Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner and Alexandra Shipp's roles in "Apocalypse". The trio will star as younger versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm respectively.

"They're as much a part of the movie as our main cast," Singer explained.

"Scott is not yet the squeaky-clean leader. Storm is a troubled character who is going down the wrong path in life. And Jean is complex, interesting and not fully mature.

"It's fun to see someone struggling with their powers when you know one day they'll become the most powerful person in the world," he added.

The upcoming Bryan Singer movie introduces the infamous Marvel villain Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) as a power-mad mutant bent on the destruction of humanity.

Producer Simon Kinberg recently teased Apocalypse, saying that the film will alter the foundations of the franchise.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ will release on May 27, 2016.

Kyra Dutt signs ‘nudity clause’ introduced by Ekta Kapoor

Mumbai: Kyra Dutt has become the first actress to sign the ‘nudity clause’ for producer Ekta Kapoor.

The actress, who will soon be seen in ‘XXX’ directed by Ken Ghosh, has reportedly shot a full frontal nude scene for the film.

Dutt is apparently extremely confident about her body and has a lot of faith in her director.

The ‘nudity clause’ is basically meant to prevent actors from backtracking from their commitment to shoot nude scenes.

"I also feel Ranbir co-directed the film with Anurag. I felt I was being directed by both. Ranbir has the makings of a great film maker which is his fall back plan," Karan Johar told reporters during the second trailer launch of `Bombay Velvet`," he added.

"Bombay Velvet" which features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar is slated for May 15 release.

"This film starts in 50s and 60s and there were superficial references when it comes to preparation. I feel the technical side of research was difficult. We were transported in the world of 50s when we came on to the sets," Ranbir said.

I'm not doing 'Force 2': Katrina Kaif

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has denied that she would team up with "New York" co-star John Abraham in the upcoming sequel of hit 2011 film "Force".

Katrina, 31, was reportedly being eyed by producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah for the female lead in the action film, which will be directed by Abhinay Deo.
The original featured actress Genelia Deshmukh as the female protagonist.

"Reports about me doing the film opposite John are not true. There is nothing like 'Force 2' happening. The next film I would be working on is Anurag Basu's film 'Jagga Jasoos'," Katrina told PTI.

The "Dhoom 3" star said she has her hands full with three back-to-back films "Fitoor", "Jagga Jasoos" and a Karan Johar production directed by Nitya Mehra.

"After 'Jagga Jasoos', I will be doing Nitya's film which is being produced by Excel Entertainment and Karan Johar. We should be wrapping up principal shoot of 'Jagga Jasoos' by this August."

The "Bang Bang!" actress stars opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor in Abhishek Kapoor's "Fitoor".

"Fitoor is shaping up well. We will be wrapping up the shoot in about three weeks. It has been pretty much start to finish job because I have coloured my hair red for the film so the continuity was needed. It is nice to shoot a film in succession. I am hoping we wrap it on time and get a good release date," Katrina said.

The romantic drama film is based on Charles Dickens' novel "Great Expectation" and also stars veteran actress Rekha.

Katrina is happy to be a part of the movie as she finds her character interesting and feels she can portray it with conviction.

"I relate to a lot of things about my character. She is in denial of many things. She does not really know herself. She is also trained to think a certain way.

"Sometimes it happens you start living a certain way without even knowing if it is the right thing. It is a very interesting character and Abhishek has a very different take on it. I think I can understand this person and convey her across," the actress said.

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar – Bollywood’s favourite Punjabi munda – will be seen sharing screen space with none other than veteran actress Rati Agnihotri in ‘Singh Is Bling’, reports suggest.

Agnihotri will be playing mother to Akshay in the film which will be helmed by dancing legend-turned-filmmaker Prabhudheva.

This on-screen mother-son duo will certainly look real as both are Punjabis and will bring out the essence of Punjabi-ness in their characters that they play with elan.

Reports further suggest that cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s father- Yograj – will essay the role of Akki’s father in the film.

With three hardcore Punjabis on board, the film is bound to be a treat to lovers of Punjab and diehard fans of Khiladi Kumar.

I am in love but no wedding plans right now: Ranbir Kapoor

Mumbai: Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is in news for his relationship with actress Katrina Kaif, confesses that he is in love but there are no wedding plans as of now.

On whether his wedding will be a private affair, Ranbir said, "I think you cannot keep it private. We are actors. My wedding date was fixed six years back. It`s a special day so let me announce it. But right now there are no plans."

"I am in love and I do feel committed and responsible. But when it comes to wedding, so much speculation spoils the fun. I would request media to stop speculating about my wedding date," he added.

The actor, whose last two films "Besharam" and "Roy" bombed at the box office, said he feels the pressure and hopes "Bombay Velvet" works for him.

"Yes there is a pressure and as an actor you want to deliver good films. When `Besharam` didn`t do well I took the responsibility that we went wrong with that film. But I also feel that you have to stay true to your work. We have worked hard on this film ("Bombay Velvet") and hope this film works."

Directed by Anurag Kashyap "Bombay Velvet" features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar among others. The film is slated for May 15 release
