Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid post intimate photo online

Los Angeles: Singer Zayn Malik and model Gigi Hadid have gone public with their romance by sharing their first picture together on social media
The two stars sent fans into a frenzy last month after being spotted out on numerous occasions looking cosy, reported In Touch Weekly.
Now, Malik, 22, and the 20-year-old model appear to be ready to admit they are more than just friends after posting the intimate photo together online.
The picture, uploaded to the singer's account, is not captioned, but it shows the pair cuddling up to one another, while Hadid wraps her hands around her boyfriend.
The model is newly single after her relationship with Joe Jonas broke down in early November, while the former One Direction star ended his engagement to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards in August.

Veteran actress Sadhana passes away at 74

New Delhi: Veteran yesteryear actress Sadhana Shivdasani left this world for a better abode. Reports suggest that the actress was admitted in Hinduja hospital, Mumbai.
She was 74 years old and was one of the biggest stars of Hindi film industry during the top stars in the 1960s and the early 1970s. The legendary actress even underwent a surgery for bleeding oral lesion last year. 
She featured in many successful Hindi films such as Parakh, Asli-Naqli, Ek Musafir Ek Hasina, Mere Mehboob,  Mera Saaya, Intaquam, Ek Phool Do Mali, and Geeta Mera Naam to name a few.
Sadhana made the 'fringe cut' a rage during her time, which even today is popularly known as the 'Sadhana cut'.

'Baaghi': Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor turn rebels in love!

New Delhi: Bollywood hottie Shraddha Kapoor, who has slowly crawled her way up is surely the next best thing in Tinsel-Town. The girl-next-door is ready to hit the silver screens with her upcoming venture 'ABCD2' on June 19, 2015.
The actress has a few plum deals in her kitty. Besides featuring in 'Rock On 2', the actress will also be seen opposite Tiger Shroff in 'Baaghi'. The slim-and trim star took to Twitter and shared her excitement to join the cast soon. She posted: “#BAAGHI - Rebels in love! Shoot starts today! Best of luck @sabbir24x7 @iTIGERSHROFF Can't wait to join in the fun”
The film happens to be a remake of 1990 super hit Salman Khan film by the same name. The remake has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and UTV Motion Pictures, and directed by Sabbir Khan of 'Heropanti' fame.

Shraddha Kapoor lost in Shillong!

New Delhi: A few days back, sequel to the hit movie `Rock On` was announced withShraddha Kapoor as one of the leads.
The original `Rock On` film starring Arjun Rampal, Farhan Akhtar among others was a rage among the youth brigade.
`Rock On 2` which will be shot in `Shillong` this time has created a lot of excitement and for the recce, Shraddha is currently in the beautiful hill side.
Few days back, the bubbly actress had tweeted:
Reports suggest that Shraddha, who has recently wrapped up the shooting of `ABCD2` is in Shillong to do a quick research on the location with her production team.
The movie will be directed by debutant Shujaat Saudagar. Actress Prachi Desai, who played Akhtar's wife in the original will be seen in a pivotal role in the sequel.

Charlize Theron, Sean Penn find new 'besties' in Brangelina

Johannesburg: South-African actress Charlize Theron and beau Sean Penn have claimed to be close friends with star couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
The Oscar winners have been tight for years, but ever since Penn and the 'Monster' star became serious, they've been spending a lot of time together with the pair as a 'foursome,' News24.com reported.
The 39-year-old actress, who's mom to a three-year-old adopted son Jackson, claims that she respects Jolie, also 39, for raising six children, and that they have a very similar outlook on life.
The duo is even hoping to work together on 'Captain Marvel,' the comic giant's upcoming first female-led superhero film. 

`Piku' maintains 'hit' status with a collection of Rs 56 crores

New Delhi: The mega hit of 2015, 'Piku' has been appreciated by all and sundry.
Amitabh Bahchcan , Deepika Padukone and Irfan Khan starrer movie has collected over Rs 56.02 crores at the Box Office since its release.
According to a senior trade analyst, the movie has been a smashing hit overseas too with a collection of 4.3 million dollars.
Big B, who is basking in the glory of the success is overwhelmed with the love and response from the innumerable fans.
The Shoojit Sircar movie, which released on May 8, 2015 is doing exceptionally well at the big screens.

Ali Zafar to produce his dream project 'Deosai'

Karachi: Ali Zafar has announced that he is all set to produce and act in his dream project titled ' Deosai'.
The 'Kill Dil' actor, who had always desired toproduce a feature film, will now make his dream come true with this film which will be set in the northern areas of Pakistan and shot on real locations, the Express Tribune reported.
Zafar said that he is thrilled to begin a new venture of making a film that can make a difference and will be remembered for a long time for their content besides aiming to be successful commercial ventures.
The 34-year-old Pakistani singer's dream project will be directed by Imran Babur, one of Pakistan's most respected names in visual storytelling.
The movie is scheduled to go on the floors by the end of summer 2015 and is set to hit theatres by mid-2016.

New Delhi: Bollywood hot-bod Shahid Kapoor has been quite active on social networking sites of late. The talented actor, who is busy shooting for Abhishek Chaubey's 'Udta Punjab' takes some time out to keep his fans and followers updated with the change in his looks.
The 34-year-old star shared a picture of his on photo-sharing site Instagram and also put the link on his Twitter account. Sasha can be seen wearing a white towel, showing off his chiselled, worked-out body. Although the actor captioned the image as: “The body after 2 weeks of fever”, but his toned body still looks perfect.
One of the most eligible bachelors in B-Town, Shahid will soon tie the knot with Delhi-based girl Mira Rajput in Greece, reportedly.

Nargis Fakhri to play Sangeeta Bijlani?

New Delhi: 'Rockstar' stunner Nargis Fakhri was last seen in Varun Dhawan starrer 'Main Tera Hero' along with Ileana D'Cruz. The leggy lass has often been spotted at various fashion duos and special movie screenings too.
After sizzling up Instagram with her hot pictures, latest reports suggest that Nargis might be seen playing actress Sangeeta Bijalni's role in former cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin biopic. Reports further indicate that although nothing has been finalised as yet, but Nargis is seen as a possible fit for this role.
The film will see Emraan Hashmi enact Azhar's role on-screen with Prach Desai playing his first wife. Earlier, Kareena Kapoor Khan's name was floating around for playing Sangeeta on reel.

Mother always our first love: Ranbir Kapoor

Panaji: He's always guarded when speaking about his romantic relationships -- but one "love"Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is always willing to shower compliments on is his mother Neetu Singh.
Ahead of Mother's Day, being celebrated on Sunday, Ranbir told IANS: "I don't believe in Mother's Day. A mother is always our first love, and our last love, and there's no greater relationship than a child and mother.
"We are what we are because of our mother. And I hope I can keep my mother happy, smiling and positive always, and that she enjoys all her life. That's my top priority."
Son of veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu, he makes no bones about admitting that he has been "closer to my mom".
"My dad had a busy life and the kind of personality he had... didn't match my temperament. So we didn't have a buddy-buddy relationship, but I am grateful for my father's energy in my life because it keeps me on my toes. He's my reality check, he's someone I have to make proud.
"He's not easily swayed, and he speaks his mind. And it's a relationship I deeply respect -- I hope I can keep his head flying," added the 32-year-old, who is currently awaiting the release of his "most intense film" -- Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet".

Shashi Kapoor awarded Dada Saheb Phalke Award by Arun Jaitley at Mumbai's Prithvi Theatre

Mumbai: Veteran actor-filmmaker Shashi Kapoor was presented the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award on Sunday by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley at Prithvi theatre here in a star studded event.
The 77-year-old came on the stage on a wheelchair accompanied by his daughter Sanjana Kapoor, but he smiled and folded his hands in reverence after receiving the honour -- the third for Indian cinema`s popular Kapoor family.
The I&B Minister called Shashi Kapoor as the most versatile personality of Bollywood and thanked him for his contribution to Indian cinema.
He is the 46th recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke Award to receive this honour for his outstanding contribution to the growth and development to Indian Cinema.
In a series of tweets, the official Twitter account of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting stated:

Family and friends of Shashi Kapoor who attended the event included Karishma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and colleagues from the B-Town — Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Rekha, Abhishek Bachchan, Kay Kay Menon, Shyam Benegal, among others.
Rishi and his son Ranbir addressed those gathered at the Prithvi theatre before the award was conferred to Shashi Kapoor.
Addressing the crowd, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his gratitude and love for the veteran actor and spoke fondly of his incredible journey. He also thanked Shahsi Kapoor for being a wonderful colleague and generous friend. The duo have worked together in a number of films.
A special audio-visual celebrating Shashi`s films and personal journey was also screened at the event. It featured Amitabh, Shabana Azmi, Sharmila Tagore, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor talking about the cinematic icon, who also had an equal penchant for theatre.
The veteran actor was unable to attend the award ceremony in Delhi due to his ill-health, therefore he was handed over the award at a function at Prithvi Theatre in suburban Mumbai.
Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to share a picture from the event along with Shashi.
Born in 1938, Kapoor hit the spotlight from the age of four acting in plays directed and produced by his father, while travelling with Prithvi Theatre. He started acting in films as a child in the late 1940s.
His best known performances as child artist were in "Aag" (1948) and "Awaara" (1951), where he played the younger version of the character played by Raj Kapoor. Shashi Kapoor also worked as assistant director in the 1950s.
Kapoor made his debut as a leading man in the 1961 film "Dharmputra" and went on to appear in more than 116 films during 60s, 70s and until the mid 80s.
Some of his memorable films include "Deewar", "Kabhie Kabhie", "Namak Halal", "Kaala Pathar" and others.

Ranbir Kapoor admits relationship with Katrina Kaif, to tie knot next year

Mumbai: Actor Ranbir Kapoor has finally confirmed his relationship with actress Katrina Kaif after years of dodging media speculations and also revealed he will marry her by the end of next year.
Ranbir, who is usually guarded about his personal life and his closeness with Katrina even as they continued to be spotted together, opened up about the actress in an interview to a daily.
"This year both of us are extremely busy, so there won't be any time for the marriage. We have planned to tie the knot by the end of next year. Both of us have agreed on that," Ranbir said.
The actor further went on to say, "Both of us are sure about our relationship and if we don't open about it now, it would be showing disrespect to the relationship. I am 33 now and it is time I have my family. Even Katrina wants that. I have grown up in a family where film is everything. So, I know the importance of gossip and my funda is simple. When there is gossip, try not to react and it is advisable not to think too much about yourself."
The couple came close while filming 2009 hit film "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani", their first movie together.
They later starred together in Prakash Jha's "Raajneeti" (2010). The duo will be next seen in "Jagga Jasoos", slated to release next year.
While Ranbir, 33, previously dated actress Deepika Padukone, the 31-year-old "Bang Bang!" star was in a long-term relationship with superstar Salman Khan before.

George Clooney praises his smart wife Amal Alamuddin

Los Angeles: Hollywood star George Clooney is all praise for his wife Amal Alamuddin's beauty, style and her high intelligence.
The 54-year-old kept gushing about his wife on several occasions while promoting his new film, "Tomorrowland", reported Ace Showbiz.
"She's an amazing human being. And she's caring. And she also happens to be one of the smartest people I've ever met. And she's got a great sense of humour," Clooney said.
Commenting on her being a fashion icon, the star said, "It's amazing, because she's always - since the day I met her - she's always had this insanely ... It's eccentric but it's fun, sense of fashion."
The human rights attorney always looks stylish despite her abundant workload.
"How she does it while she's got 11 cases she's working on, and she was teaching at Columbia, and she's still like, 'I want to wear that dress.' It's crazy. It has been sort of fascinating to watch, because she has such great taste," he added.

Jackie Chan becomes Singapore's first celebrity anti-drug ambassador

New Delhi: Internationally renowned star Jackie Chan has hit the headlines for extending his support to anti-drug campaign, thereby becoming Singapore's first anti-drug celebrity. Incidentally, Jackie's son Jaycee Chan was recently in news for drug abuse.
Jaycee reportedly spent around six months in prison in China after marijuana was found at his house. According to international websites, in an interview Jackie Chan was quoted as saying that younger people "increasingly see drugs a a personal choice", but the reality is one cannot experiment with drugs and not expect to be addicted.
The only choice is to stay away from drugs," he added. Chan also said that youths nowadays think drugs are fun - (but) it will hurt you. Not just that, it will harm your family as well. You will be a bad influence on your friends.
Jackie was quoted as saying that he was "ashamed" and "shocked" at knowing about his son's drug abuse incident, adding that now he shall focus more on him.

Aamir Khan to visit China ahead of Modi's visit

Beijing:  Bollywood star Aamir Khan will be in Beijing early next week to attend the premiere of the Chinese version of "PK". His trip comes just two days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit during which the two countries are set to firm up their ties for joint production.
Aamir, 49, who is the most popular Indian film actor in China thanks to the success of "3 Idiots", will visit Beijing and Shanghai on May 11 and 12 for the premiere with director Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra, sources here told PTI.
The film will release in over 3000 screens in China on May 22. It would be Aamir's first trip to the country and it is expected that "PK" will replicate the success of "3 Idiots".
Famous Chinese comedian actor Wang Baoqiang has rendered his voice for Aamir's alien character in the movie to highlight the comic element. Aamir's "PK" co-star Anushka Sharma visited Beijing recently to attend the premiere of her film "NH10" at the Beijing Film festival.
Aamir's trip comes two day's before Modi's first visit to China as Prime Minister during which MOUs for joint film productions are expected to be signed.
The two countries already have an agreement on joint productions during last year's visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to India.
During Modi's visit a new MOU is expected to be signed between state-run Shanghai film group and Indian film distribution firm Eros to make a film on famous Chinese Buddhist Monk Xuan Zang's 17 year long journey to India in 645 AD.
Modi would kick off his visit from Xian city, the capital of Xi's home province Shaanxi, where the Chinese President was expected to accompany the Prime Minister to the Wild Goose Pagoda built in recognition of the Monk's contribution in popularising Buddhism in China.
The MOU of the film, starring Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming, is expected to be signed at the business and investment get together to be address by the PM during his visit to Shanghai on May 16. The Indian cast may include Amitabh Bachchan.
Both the Shanghai Film Group and Eros are expected to sign an agreement to do more co-productions in the future. Already a movie titled "Kung Fu Yoga" featuring Hollywood star Jackie Chan is being made under the joint production. 

Jennifer Aniston to star as mom in 'Mean Girls' spin-off 'Mean Moms'

Washington: Jennifer Aniston is set to star in 'Mean Moms', a spin-off based on hit chick flick ' Mean Girls.'
The 46-year-old 'Horrible Bosses' star will reportedly play one of the mother's in Sean Anders directed film, which will show the competitive world of parenting in a small American town, the Mirror reported.
The comedy is based on advice book 'Queen Bee Moms and King Pin' by Rosalind Wiseman, who's first book 'Queen Bees and Wannabes' was the inspiration for original 2004 film, starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried. 

Amitabh Bachchan remembers 'Khuda Gawa'

New Delhi: How time flies! It has been 23 years since the movie 'Khuda Gawah' released. Amitabh Bachchan, who was the lead in the movie remembered the film on its 23rd anniversary. He also remembers the the shoot in Afghanistan.
He posted on Twitter: 
The film also starred Sri Devi and the music is still remembered to this day

'Tomorrowland' to release on May 22

New Delhi: George Clooney-starrer adventure mystery "Tomorrowland" will hit theatres on May 22.
Directed by Brad Bird, the Disney film also stars Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key and Thomas Robinson.
"Tomorrowland" tells the story of a former boy genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embarking on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as Tomorrowland. What they must do there changes the world, and them, forever.
"We hope audiences will be entertained, but with luck we've also made something that will give them something to talk and think about later…maybe even start to imagine a different kind of future," Bird said in a statement.
"Tomorrowland" is produced by Damon Lindelof, Bird and Jeffrey Chernov while John Walker, Bernard Bellew, Jeff Jensen and Brigham Taylor are serving as executive producers.

Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor in love with 'Piku'

New Delhi: The much awaited movie of 2015, 'Piku' has garnered appreciation from all. Makers of the movie have hit the right chord with the flawless ensemble of cast – Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan who are indeed the finest.
Shoojit Sircar must be basking in glory with the best words being showered upon his film from the stalwarts of industry.
Filmmaker Karan Johar took to Twitter to write some of the best words for 'Piku' and is in awe with the flawless performances and director's concept.




Contemporary actor, Arjun Kapoor too has appreciated the movie.

The Shoojit Sircar directorial which is about the relationship between a Bengali cranky father and his daughter, was released on Wednesday, 25 March.

Lisa Haydon excited for 'India's Next Top Model'

Mumbai: After exploring modelling and acting, Lisa Haydon will now be seen as a judge of a reality TV show "India's Next Top Model". The actress says she is looking forward to the new role. 
"So excited to be judging the first season of India's Next Top Model... Bring it on girls!!! @MTVIndia #INTM," Lisa tweeted. 
The actress was noticed after her performance in films like "Queen" and "The Shaukeens".
