`Badlapur` mints over Rs 37 crore in first week

Varun Dhawan starrer `Badlapur` has clean-bowled not only the viewers and critics with the rave performances but also is a a clear winner at the Box-Office.

`Badlapur`is running strong at the BO and it has minted over Rs 36 crore in its first week.

According to reports, the collections stand as, Fri Rs 7 cr, Sat Rs 8.50 cr, Sun Rs 8 cr, Mon Rs 4.05 cr, Tue Rs 3.35 cr, Wed Rs 3.01 cr, Thu Rs 2.40 cr, Fri ​Rs 1.5 crore coming to a total of Rs 37.76cr. 

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's ingenious act is another highlight of the movie.

The crime drama has occupied the third highest opening week spot at BO after `Roy` and `Baby`.

It is still far away from the 100 crore mark, but at least it is doing better than the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer `Dum Laga Ke Haisha`.

The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer film recorded an estimated opening of over Rs 1.10 crore on the opening day at the Box-Office, according to a tweet by a leading trade analyst.

However, movie's collections are expected to improve over the weekend through word of mouth.

The film features Ayushmann as well as debutante Bhumi Pednekar in pivotal roles.

The film also features Sanjay Mishra, Alka Amin, Seema Pahwa as well as Sheeba Chadda in key roles.
