CHOOSING A WRONG SHADE OF FOUNDATION: Many women tend to apply a wrong shade of foundation – sometimes just because their friend or sister suggested it or sometimes, when they’ve got it from a friend living abroad and are very fond of using it! This is totally wrong – as first, the Indian (yellow-based) skin-tone is completely different from the women in west (pink-based). Secondly, no other skin tone can be same enough – in either texture or tone – to be applied the same color of foundation. So, be sure to test the product for its suitability with your skin-color – buy it yourself – and then only use it to appear natural and not chalky.

MAKING BOTH EYES & LIPS BOLD: People often go way too overboard when it comes to makeup and highlight their eyes and lips – equally. This should not be the case – it can take away the charm from their face and emerge tacky as well! Instead, always make one part of our face – eyes or lips – bright at a time to look classy in a go.

AVOIDING THE IMPORTANCE OF BLUSHERS: Ignoring blushers or bronzer is also a huge makeup blunder done by women. Faces look too plump and chubby in absence of these items which are actually used to cut down the flab on faces and make it appear chiseled. And, the result is a superficially undone makeup which looks extremely awful.

IGNORING THE NECK: Our neck is an ignored creature; as most of us deprive it of its desired beauty and makeup products. Similar goes with makeup – when we prettify the face with full-coverage and forget the neck – making it emerge different in color/texture from your face. Make your product work harder by applying it on neck – to make it appear beautiful too!

APPLYING MAKEUP ON A NAKED FACE: Women who generally don’t apply makeup – sometimes go only for only applying eye makeup or a bright lip color on naked face. This should not be something they should do, as it doesn’t look nice at all. A light base should be there on your face before highlighting any of your features to for a balanced-out effect.

Gauhar in talks for 'Suryaputra Karna'

Mumbai: Actress Gauahar Khan has been approached to play the role of Vrushali in upcoming TV show “Suryaputra Karna”.

Vrushali is the love interest of Karna. She is someone who is totally besotted with Karna and often talks a lot.

The makers found Gauahar's personality perfectly suited to the character in the show, according to a source.

Gauahar has appeared in films like “Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year” and “Ishaqzaade”. Her TV credits include “Bigg Boss 7”, “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3” and “India's Raw Star”.

“Suryaputra Karna”, which will be telecast on an entertainment channel, is expected to go on air in June end.

Lisa Ray to perform stunts in 'Ishq Forever'

Mumbai: Actress Lisa Ray, who plays a secret agent in "Ishq Forever", will be seen performing stunts in the romantic entertainer. She's excited to play an "action-oriented" woman on screen and is working hard for it.

She has been undergoing rigorous training sessions since a month with Grandmaster Shifuji to get her act rights. The actress wants to ensure that her comeback turns out to be a treat for her fans.

"I'm so excited to play a strong, action-oriented woman on screen. Training with Master Shifuji was not just about mastering the physical moves but also about the confidence and mind training it takes to be a warrior.

"Shifuji has trained many women in self-defence and we both believe strongly in female empowerment, which is part of bringing my character to the screen," Lisa said in a statement.

Produced by Ajay Shah, Harry Gandhi and Shabbir Boxwala, "Ishq Forever" is being shot in Cape Town, South Africa. The film, directed by Sanjay Dayma, will release in November.

Los Angeles: Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and signer Chris Martin are reportedly happier than ever.

The 24-year-old actress and the 38-year-old British rocker, who apparently started dating last year, are spending a lot of time together since she recently wrapped up shooting her upcoming film "Joy", reported People magazine. "Both have full plates and they like it that way. They see each other when they can, yet each continues to do their own thing.

"They respect each other immeasurably. (They) are happier than ever. They have been spending a lot of time together," a source said.
